Really fun night, great drinks, beautiful location. Just show up early so you can check out the crafts and watch the sunset.
The performers were insanely talented and the fire finale was straight-up nuts. Only thing: I wish it was like 30 minutes longer. Coulda used one more drink!
We did the Grand Wailea luau on our first night in Wailea and it set the bar high. The setting is gorgeous (sunset right there), and the whole thing felt really well-run, check-in, seating, drinks, all of it. The show was a mix of dancing and storytelling, and I actually followed the storyline way more than I expected (voyaging legends, Pele, that sort of vibe). The fire knife dance is the obvious highlight.
This luau at Grand Wailea was worth the money. The performers were incredibly talented, and the fire knife dance finale was just sooo cool. The drinks were good, I only wish it was another hour longer. Haha! Super fun!
The performers were great. the food was really good too. I don't know why people don't like luaus. this was my first, and I liked it a lot and I would recommend it for sure.
